Located just a stone's throw away from the iconic British Museum on Great Russell Street, Court Cafe is more than just your average cafe; it’s a delightful haven for museum-goers and locals alike. With its vibrant atmosphere and diverse menu, this spot is perfect for anyone looking to recharge during a day of exploration.

The cafe offers a tempting selection of hot drinks that cater to every coffee lover's preferences. From rich, energizing Espressos to velvety Cappuccinos, every sip promises an immersive experience. For those who prefer a touch of sweetness, the Hot Chocolate is a must-try, enveloping you in warmth as you indulge. Not to mention the comforting variety of Teas, perfect for those seeking a lighter caffeine fix or an invigorating herbal blend.

I had the pleasure of diving into the offerings of Court Cafe, and one customer review that stood out was from Kimberley Howarth, who raved about the excellent value. Their set deal for a lunch consisting of a sandwich or salad with a drink and dessert is an absolute steal for just £12 or £15! I couldn’t resist the Indian Chicken wrap, complemented by a refreshing bottle of still water and a luscious blueberry panna cotta that is guaranteed to steal the show. The dessert, in particular, warrants a visit on its own!

While some patrons, like Zuri, noted that portions may be smaller for the price, it's important to consider the convenience of eating at a bustling cafe within the museum. Coupled with a satisfying cup of coffee, it sets a perfect tone for resuming your museum exploring. Furthermore, if you're after an afternoon treat, Kwon recommends making a reservation for their delightful afternoon tea—a wonderful way to relax after a busy morning of sightseeing.

For those like Rashaad, looking for efficiency during your museum visit, the cafe's location serves as the ideal stop to avoid hunger pangs without venturing far from the captivating exhibits. Yes, it may not rival Michelin-star dining, but it's certainly a welcome respite, balancing quality, convenience, and a cozy ambiance amidst the hustle and bustle of museum attractions.

What's most striking about Court Cafe is its commitment to providing not only food but a delightful experience that perfectly complements your time at the museum. From hearty coffees and fresh lunches to tempting desserts, it’s a gem nestled within one of London’s most vibrant cultural hotspots.

Next time you find yourself at the British Museum, make it a point to visit Court Cafe—a delightful place to pause, refuel, and savor the comforting flavors that enhance your visit.

The choice place to eat it seems, for most museum visitors. They have a package/set deal for their food... £12 for a sandwich + drink + dessert, or £15 for a salad + drink + dessert. I got an Indian Chicken wrap, a bottle of still water and a panna cotta. It's pretty good value for a cafe in a tourist location, imo. And the blueberry panna cotta is especially delicious.

I was very hungry so I ordered a little something before continuing the museum trip! Coffee was good but portion is small for the price! Would recommend eating outside and not in the museum

Great little cafe conveniently located in an awesome museum. Prices aren’t cheap but it isn’t unreasonable. Well worth it for the convenience of extending a stay at the museum without going hungry. I had low expectations seeing the negative comments about price / dietary restrictions but was pleasantly surprised. It isn’t a Tesco or a Michelin star restaurant but great for a museum cafe.
